    HOW FREAKING CUTE IS THIS PICTURE???  C’s three year old class has a violin teacher come once a week and teach the little ones how to play~ or really…how to get comfortable with a musical instrument.  C played the instrument all wrong, used the wrong fingers/hands but you know what… it is about her WANTING to try it and play right?  My brother tuned the violin for her and showed her a youtube video of a little girl playing the frozen song on the violin.  BRILLIANT idea.  She was so motivated and excited.     Three Years and 3 Months

    i can’t believe i have a three year old TODDLER.  just seriously blows my mind.  time is going by SO SO fast and before i forget, i’m going to try and document some of the best memories/moments of C these days… -c’s English and Korean are EXPLODING.  she says the most HILARIOUS phrases in both languages and the way she understands the world is really surprising.  she understands so much more than i give her credit for knowing at 3 yrs old.  funny phrases/words: “widibittit” (for a little bit) “i hiiiiidingggg” (when she just covers her eyes) “bow cereal” (for cereal in a bowl, not just loose cereal and a…

    Gardening with Toddlers

    i recently read that at c’s age (almost 3), the best activities are gardening, cooking, exploring the outdoors.  sooo…that’s what we’ve been doing!  we go on these epic walks in the evening as a family~ we started baking and making our own pizzas at home~ and this last weekend we tried city gardening.  and by that i mean…herbs.  we have a small apartment and i do not have a green thumb~ so we started off with something easy: planting herb seeds and replanting a lima bean plant she made at school. c loved every single aspect of this project.  i could see why!  it was so fun for her to…
