Solo sweet! They surprised me with cake, treats and adorable decor! ♡♡♡ I’m so lucky. 🙂
My favorite people in the entire world~~ I didn’t get to take group pictures with people (so sad) but I was lucky enough to take them with my favorite people at the end of the night next to the Bar (go figure… that’s where they all were).
and…these photos below probably sum up the night of our wedding~~ uhh party of 1 since I was always doing things alone it seemed (in pictures ) >.<
my first birthday cake with Markel in 2009 <3
This past weekend was…SUPER fun. I did a LOT of driving in thearea~ and it felt like I went on 2 mini vacations!
Friday Night, I stayed home b/c I had to wake up at theof dawn to leave for . BUT the one awesome treat was that our wedding photos came!!
I’m so excited to share these! I’ll be posting up like 10 different entries to show them all to you. Out of like 3,000 photos, there are at LEAST 800 I want to share. HAHA (literally)
At 645am…bright and early~ I woke up to drive to Temecula. I had a leader’s retreat with my church and since my car didn’t go friday night (with the rest of the group) we had to be in Temecula before 9am. sooo earlyyyy *yawn *
The mansion we stayed in was GORGEOUS!! It housed at least 22 of us and well…there was DEFINITELY more room. We had a game room, pool, ourdoor fireplace, spa, and MUCH more! (there was an american flag themed bathroom too!)
During the afternoon, we had “free time” so some of us went<3
Night Time fire, cigars, spa…it was AWESOME.
So…mygot a hole in it =( I”ve had it for less than a month and already we had a TIIIIINY hole =(
What do 4 girls do?? We used eyelash glue, 1 stamp, 2 hello kitty bandaids and ato plug the hole. GENIUS right??? hahaha we laughed pretty hard but it totally worked!! xoxo
The next morning, I woke up to people making awesome Egg McMuffins!! I made a yogurt partfait and well…had the best breakfast in a LONG TIME.
Immediately after leaving Temecula at 9am and arriving inby 11am~ Markel and I drove to for the day. We went to visit his grandparents in for lunch.
Stone Flat Pizza…it was aiite. Definitely hit the spot, food came out fast, and the service was friendly. Not 5-stars or anything though.
On our drive back to LA <3 (ROAD TRIP!! from our summer bucket list)
On the way back home, we stopped by Brodard Chateau in West Minster…BEST vietnamese food I’ve ever had. Hands DOWN.
I got my wedding photos back and here is one really fun one after the Paebaek (Korean Ceremony). Hehe
Here are a few more.fun ones ♡ xoxo
Mike and I decided to postpone getting a dog…at least for a few more months. We got some traveling to do!!
BUTTTTT…when we do, I reallllly want a fluffy chow chow like this l, an english bulldog, AND a golden retreiver. :P. A little ambitious? Yes maybe…but my heart melts for these doggies!!
Concert on the Pier in Santa Monica, 2009
We got a little sneak peak of the professional photos from our photog. Here are a few for you to see too! <3
Can you tell there was a theme going on?
HUGE Bridal Party right?
Can’t WAIT to show you guys more!!! xo
I haven’t gotten my wedding pics back yet, but here are some fun ones from my point and shoot that my bridesmaid took throughout the day/night <3
The Korean Ceremony (PaeBaek)
We caught dates (girls) and walnuts (boys) that our parents threw. It’s to symbolize how many children we’ll have. We collected them in the bag below <3
We’re getting the professional photos shortly!! xoxo
I’ll post those soon <3
Let me just say…that the day that was supposed to be the most magical in my life…was a day full of disasters, drunken stumbles, sober stumbles, broken glass, CRAZY wind…and well… a lot of fun and dancing. LOL Who knew that I could feel so many emotions in one day??
The ladies woke up bright at early on Saturday, April 20th. We had 2 rooms (9 girls) and started getting ourselves together, eating breakfast, and getting the bouquets together.
(**CLUTCH TIP: free breakfast at your hotel. Our entire bridal party of 18 people ate for free in the morning plus the extra guests that had come to stay. Since we just had to walk downstairs, it was easy to keep track of everyone and no one had to drive anywhere**)
Here’s the last of the random photos from my point and shoot camera. The REAL professional photos are coming soon! xoxo
Champs Before the Ceremony!
Korean Ceremony: This was SO MUCH FUN. It was pretty crazy to change out of Wedding Dress #1, into Korean Hanbok, then into Wedding Dress #2 (accessories included), but it was worth all the fun and beautiful pictures!
Destressing with 2 vodka sodas (prob wasn’t the BEST idea…)
Reception Pics: LOVE THESE GIRLS!! xoxo
Random….hahaha but I guess it had to be done?
This past weekend was really fun, busy and tiring. But of course…mostly fun <3
Friday, I came home from work and had some wine while watching Korean Dramas.
Then…we did something SUPER fun…we walked to dinner and then watched Man of Steel! We so rarely get to hang out alone together that it felt super special…first date special <3 When we first started dating, we walked to this same theater all the time and grabbed dinner at the random restaurants around it. Having this kind of an experience again was…amazing.
Saturday: UCLA Commencement
Free Commencement Food <3
Arm Swag <3
To Beaumont (Near Palm Springs)
Friday Night we went to Morongo Casino as a foursome, ate dinner and gambled our free $10 cards at the penny slots. Safe to say…no one won big that night =(
Coming Home from Beaumont:
Markel and I have a storage unit in Beaumont with our childhood items. Both our parents moved and so we combined our boxes into a storage unit and we were settled. Now that we are…it’s pretty dreadful to move things into the apartment when you’re already moved in. *sigh * In any case, it’s going to take about 3 trips to empty it all out. Here is our first trip (Barry is back!!):
Random Photodump of the week:
delicious dinner at the Paks before watching the season premiere of Pretty Little Liars
Strong “shots” of coffee. I accidentally bought 250 of these from amazon…please don’t ask. The only “pro” of this is that they are travel size. I do NOT recommend getting these yourself…they taste AWFUL.
Fun end of the year party for work! (i made the salads + fruit salad)
I had such a fun weekend that it’s hard to come back… *sigh *
Well, have a great weekend everyone!
I had so much fun last night. It seriously felt like I was 24 years old again. The girls (aka Bs) and I used to hang out 24/7 and kill 2 bottles of wine each!! After a really fun gab session with the girls…it just made me reminiscent of all our young fun together. ♡♡♡
Love my girls and love my life.
Found these photos in my drafts inbox. I normally start entries on my phone but I always forget to post them!! Here are a bunch of them from last April that I have yet to post (or maybe have posted sporadically).
The more I see them, the more I want a big statement mirror in our apartment. Currently we have a plain square mirror above our credenza and well…I’m already bored with it.
I want something cuter and bigger like the ones below! These are mostly from ZGallerie <3
What do you think? Don’t we need a new Mirror??
